This year it was our goal to potty train Braden. I say "year" because I wasn't exactly sure when I was ready to commit myself to sitting in the bathroom at least 10 times a day and/or cleaning up any accidents and clothes. I dreaded it, but we knew he was ready, because he was able to keep his diaper dry at night. There was no system to what we did. In fact, I winged it the best I could. haha
To motivate him into going, we told him that we'd take him to Chuck E Cheese if he could keep his underwear dry for a whole week.
Up until a few weeks ago, he had accident after accident and wouldn't tell us when he needed to go. Then we took a trip to Mississippi to see my family. We were expecting more accidents, so we took pull-ups, and we even expected him to regress. However, in the next 2 1/2 weeks that the boys and I were gone, Braden had probably 3 or 4 accidents that were technically not huge accidents. After that, he always made sure to tell me when he needed to go. Something just seemed to CLICK for him! When we made it home again to Plano and Trapper, we planned a trip to Chuck E Cheese.
I took another video of Jackson whispering Braden the answer to my question, but it won't work for some reason. Anyway, they were really excited. haha
We played just about every single game in Chuck E Cheese.
They can't wait to go back again!
And we're SO proud of you, Braden! This is a major accomplishment.

First off, loving all the updates. Suzy, you seriously look absolutely beautiful. I miss you.
ANYWAY....
GOOD JOB BRADEN! This IS a major accomplishment. Caelen is just about there (hooray!) Her "motivation" a Merida (the new heroine from the new Disney movie) dress and doll.
Give your cute little boys hugs for me. Brinkley asked about Jackson the other day, and said, "He was my very best friend in Ohio. We should go back there and do it again."
