The Eleven Days of 11-11

My husband came up with the cutest birthday surprise ever. On November 1st, I opened my silverware drawer and found a card addressed to me indicating that I would be receiving gifts every day until November 11th.
The first day of 11-11, my true love gave to me: a box of pink earphones.
The second day : Paul Cardall's "New Life" album
The third day: Book of Reflections on Love (with quotes from General Authorities and others)
The fourth day: Small bottle of perfume, "Curve"
The fifth day: A cute bookmark featuring a quote from Marjorie Pay Hinckley
The sixth day: Made dinner for me and the kids and then cleaned up. Loved that. : )
The seventh day: Here's of picture of what he came home with. They were SOOO beautiful and I hated that they had to die.
The eighth day: Frank Sinatra Christmas album
The ninth day: An enormous cookbook called "The Soup Bible"
The tenth day:A bag of new socks and some Dove dark chocolate.
The eleventh day: The eleventh gift was a rice cooker/steamer, but my mom sent me one before he could do it, so instead he took me out shopping and I picked out a pair of skinny jeans.

On the day of my birthday, my sweet friend, Carlin, watched the boys for a few hours while I enjoyed some relaxation and peace. During that time, Trapper took me out to lunch at the California Pizza Kitchen. I really really like their pizza. When I came home to pick up the boys, they presented me with homemade cards saying how much they love me. It was the best! Later, in the evening, we went out for some bowling!

11-11-11 Bowling at Fat Cats
We really love to bowl.

We're so glad we had friends to join us!

We had Jackson take a picture of us.

My wrist was having such issues, so I was actually pretty good competition for Jackson and Braden.
Uncle Josh came!! Yay! It made the night even better because he was there, and the boys absolutely LOVE him.
Big brother

Red Velvet cheesecake! And more friends!

After cheesecake and talking with friends, we put the boys to bed and stayed up playing Settlers with my brother. The whole day was wonderful, and I'm so thankful for the people in my life who made my birthday this year a blast!

I feel like a slacker friend! I keep telling myself that I am going to do something..but I still haven't. I'm glad that Trapper spoiled you!
