Settling In Our New Apartment

This is our kitchen. It's the best part of the whole apartment. The kids eat right here every morning.

This is our new apartment. Here's a view of our living room/dining room/office room. Yeah, it's cramped, but it's not too bad. At least they're not as much space to constantly clean up, ya know?

We left Ohio on the 7th of August and then drove out to Tremonton where Trapper's parents live. Our apartment wasn't available until the 20th, so we got to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa! The boys LOVED it. The backyard was full of exciting toys: trampoline, swings, sandbox, and lots of tricycles and cars to drive around. They never got
bored. On the 19th, Trapper and I celebrated our 6th anniversary. Since money's tight and things are kind of crazy, we did some simple things. One night, Trapper took me out to a restaurant called Rodizio Grill where they come and serve you different kinds of meat while you pig out on the amazing salad bar. It was really interesting, but I'm not a meaty kind of girl, so I give it a 7. After that, we saw "Captain America" and then went to Cold Stone. It was a fun date, but I was looking for something a little more romantic, so on the day of our anniversary, I drove down to Provo and met Trapper. He'd been going through Orientation all week. We had to sign on our apartment, so we did that and then we went to a place called Zupas for dinner. It's a soup, sandwich, and salad place and I LOVE IT. That's my kind of food. After dinner, we drove up to what is known as "Make-out point." AKA Squaw...something...well, if you've heard of it, you know the spot. It overlooks the whole valley. It's beautiful. So we watched the sun set and ate some chocolates.

And no, we didn't make out. lol Those days of throwing caution to the wind and not caring about my privacy is kind of long gone. After the sun set, we went to see Thor. Good, but cheesy in some spots. Another great night. Loved it.

We really need to get together soon! You guys live so close and we haven't even had the boys play yet. I have Trappers number but I should probably get yours. So I love Zupas too. It is my sis, Becci's, favorite place. If you do go for the meat thing again you have to go to Tucanos Brazilian Grill. Way better than Rodizio Grill. Just a suggestion. Hope to get together soon.
