Potty Party

This happened about a month and a half ago, so I'm doing some catch up on my blog.

We gave Jackson a goal to think about while he was potty training. We told him that if he did really good not peeing in his pants or in the bed, we'd take him to Chuck E Cheese. He also had to not poop in his pants. He had the pee thing down, but the poop was a bigger issue. He'd rather do it in his pants than in the potty. For about two weeks, we'd continually remind him to poop in the potty, but he could never get there in time. And he didn't really care too much. After a few days of not pooping in his pants, though, we finally went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate his victory.

We'd heard about the Chuck's pizza, so we went to Pizza Hut instead. YUMMY.

He was so excited!! We know 'cause he kept telling us, "I so escited!"

We played lots of different games, but Jackson's favorite was skeeball. We played until we were almost out of coins. We decided we'd come back and finish off the coins when Jackson was fully potty-trained, which he is now. So we didn't get any big prizes. Instead we bought the kids each a smartie in the hopes that we'll win more tickets next time and be able to win something even cooler.
Jackson's fully potty-trained though! He goes without telling me he has to and does everything on his own. I'm so proud of him! I can't wait for Braden to be potty-trained as well! But we've got a ways to go with him. It's not time for him to board the potty-train.
