Christmas 2010

About a month or so ago, we all experienced something called Christmas. Do you remember that? Well, this is my blog about ours. I have been procrastinating so many things like you wouldn't believe! We were able to spend about 2 1/2 weeks with Trapper's family in Utah, and we had a great time. It seems as if everyone was hit with a little sickness either before, during or after it, but it seems as if it can't be avoided, so you might as well just wait your turn! ha! Other than that, it was a wonderful time reconnecting with family members.

It is a tradition in Trapper's family (since everyone lives so near each other) that they have parties together. For the appetizer, everyone drives over to someone else's house and then we play a game. For the main course, we go to another person's house and that's where all the little children put on a Christmas program. Then, for dessert, everyone came back to Bev and Kim's, and while we were all enjoying each other's company and playing games, Santa Claus came to over!

Jackson was the first to jump on his lap! He was so eager that maybe he knew Santa was hiding candy in his bag. We were really surprised 'cause he's usally very shy with strangers.

My brother, Matthew spent a few days with us until he had to fly out to my mom and dad's in Illinois.
Braden was being a goofball. I think he was trying to put his fat cheeks back. haha

Jackson, Trapper, and Kim

Bev put together all the desserts and made popcorn for everyone.
The Buttars family with Grandma and Grandpa in the middle

Santa! Braden wanted to be just like his brother, but he didn't want to sit in his lap for as long.
Everyone got a chance to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas.

Opening presents from the grandparents. Jackson was deliberately being a goof in this picture. haha

Car toys!
I'm not sure where everyone was about to go or if they had just come home, but I took a photo. I'm so random.

The Grandkiddies in the morning!

More car toys!!

Christmas Day!! Jackson loves his Leapster and Diego game.
Braden received a game called Red Rover. He loves doggies.
Annabelle and Layla
Trapper got me a surprise gift from the Deseret book store. It's one of my favorite places!! : )
Nerf guns for everyone!! A surprising gift from Grandpa and Grandma. They were lots of fun.
Like my hat??
Derek (Ashley's fiance) playing ball with Braden.

Ashley's friend, Nguyen, spent Christmas with us as well and she made Vietnamese food for us!

This is a wrap with a pork mixture (I think) and lettuce. It was interesting, but if you dipped it in sweet and sour sauce it tasted pretty good.
Kim
Kim enjoying his solitude. : )Dress up!
Annabell and Jackson had fun playing together. They played pretend and dress up and lots of other games. It was fun watching them play together.

I am sad... I wish I could of sat on that Santa Clauses lap on Christmas. Looks like you had a full house and had lots of fun with the family. Someday we will get back home for Christmas.
