With so many new milestones and transitions that are constantly in the back of my mind pressuring me to accomplish, I can at least check one off the list--finally!!
Being what we call a possum.

We're glad he's enjoying this new bed.

To be honest, I actually thought he'd have a hard time making this transition. He never EVER wanted to get out of his crib. He loved being able to roll around and play in it. I told Trapper last night (it being the first night of sleeping in the new bed) that he will probably roll out of it or bonk his head or something and cry for us. And since I am, like, an expert...I mean, practically a genius when it comes to children (*cough* yeah right), we decided to leave Jackson's door and our door open so I'd be able to hear him cry. Well, I'm happy to report that it was an uneventful night. I guess I have no idea what I'm talking about. lol I really should just have more confidence in my son when it comes to changes. He's always done well, so I should've had more faith in the little booger. : )

I'm so glad to see that you put a side rail on. We skipped that step with Annabelle, but I would not recommend it to anyone! A rail would have saved me lots of worrying and Annabelle a few falls. In fact, I should rig something up for Annabelle's bed now, she fell out just the other night. It seems to be about a monthly occurance.
You are so lucky . When we got a bed for Reve he hated it so bad and it was such a fight that we finally had to put him back in his crib and sold the bed to someone because we didn't have space to keep it. What a good boy.
Yay! That's so good! Hey...is that the dog he stole from my bed? I'm glad that he likes it and that it is getting lots of love because I almost gave it to DI a couple of times. Every child needs a stuffed animal. :)
