To start off our evening, when Trapper got home, he surprised me with flowers! I love flowers. To me, it says "I love you" or "I've been thinking about you," and how could I not love that!? For dinner, we went to Chili's. We love familiarity...and the 2 for $20. It's TOUGH eating dinner without talking about the kids, 'cause sometimes it's either that or nothing else. haha But we had a good dinner. It was nice just to be OUT! After dinner, we drove out to the Playhouse Square in downtown Cleveland. We were an hour early, but we looked around at some of the merchandising booths. The shirts were $39! Yikes. They were also selling the cd's, but I figured I'd probably have to find it somewhere for a cheaper price.
Well, the musical was amazing. Sometimes the music gave me chills and sometimes it made me want to cry. It was wonderful. I wished there could've been an encore. As we settled ourselves in the car to go home, I kept singing the songs over and over in my head and thought about how I wished I had the soundtrack. That's when Trapper said, "I have something else for you." And he pulled out the soundtrack!!!!!! It was like he was magician or something. All of sudden, there is was! I couldn't figure out how he'd gotten it in the car though! I thought he'd bought it sometime before or between or after the show when I wasn't around......which was never. So I was confused. But then he told me that his buddy from work said that he'd want to get the cd as soon as he saw the musical, so he'd better buy it beforehand. He totally surprised me! I LOVE LOVE LOVE surprises! To complete our evening, Trapper showed me the route he takes to work and the building he works at. Then we drove home listening to "Wicked" with the volume turned WAY up. It's something we both do when we don't have the kids in the car. haha It was a wonderful evening and this will always be a sweet memory.

What an awesome treat! I'm totally jealous. A+ to Trapper for a fabulously planned evening for you!
I didn't like the book either...too scandalous. I was glad the musical was very different! It was awesome, huh!!?
wow what a fun time. I bet it is nice to have an in house babysitter. It is always fun to get out of the house and do something without the kids/
