In answer to your question, Britney, I...have no victory story. It's sad, but true. I did well for the first week of the challenge. I bought the necessary foods to help me stay on track, but then I realized that with breastfeeding I'd have to eat more just to make sure I was giving Braden good quality milk. Towards the end, it got harder and harder sticking to the routine, and I'd grab an occasional piece of chocolate or breadstick or whatever I could get my hands on at the time. Then I went to my parents house in NC for the weekend, RIGHT BEFORE the challenge was over. And the first place we went to eat was CiCi's. *sigh* That's when I had like 3 brownies and a few slices of alfredo cheese pizza. Sure, I felt guilty, but it was a guilty PLEASURE. After that, I pulled out the white flag and surrendered to everything yummy. And the junkfood cravings have come back with a nasty vengeance. Make the voices stop!!
So, I didn't lose any weight. Well, I'm assuming I didn't. I don't have a scale so I was never able to keep track of it. I am signing up with a gym once we move into this new house (tomorrow!! yikes). And, once I'm done breastfeeding Braden, I may go back to the challenge and commit myself to it 100%, along with exercise this time. If you're wondering if I lost much weight after Braden, wonder no more. I ain't scared. I'm still a few pounds shy of reaching the pre-Braden body. Last time it was checked I was at 126 lbs. Before Braden, I was 122. My goal is 118. I'm going to make it there one day. I WILL!

I was wondering too, glad you posted this! And you are the only person I know who would put your weight online...maybe that is because you weigh nothing! Your weight right now is less than my goal weight. You're doing great though, only eight pounds from your goal. I'm impressed. I've got 4 left, but with the holidays coming, its not coming off.
I agree, you're the only person I know who would post their weight! Sorry you didn't have more success with the Special K thing but I'm sure you look fine. I don't even attempt to diet! And yes, we will be there at Thanksgiving. Do you have your tickets bought yet? Just wondering if you know the dates you'll be there yet. Good luck with the move today!
I love it that you spoke to me in your post! :) Don't feel bad about not sticking to it. I don't believe in diets! Instead of going on a diet, I just try to not let food have any power over me. lol, It hasn't worked much so far! I have no guilt though. If it makes you feel any better, I haven't weighed 126 since I was in middle school probably. It's funny how we don't like to share our weight..as if it makes us look any different when people know how much we weigh. I'm so philosophical right now!
Ha! The day I weigh 118 is the day that I'm 16 years old again! Good for you that you have a goal.
That is great to get back into shape. One of these days I am going to be fit again. I eat and have so many sweets cravings right now I don't have the motivation to do it. Maybe I will have to make that a goal for next year.
