Baking Cookies

Almost every Sunday I'll bake something. It's a tradition in my family to bake brownies every Sunday, but I usually try to do something different every week. Anyway, it's tough trying to do ANYTHING with a toddler. He wants to be a part of everything, so I thought it would be fun to have our first lesson in baking cookies. It turned out better and cleaner than I had anticipated!

While my back was turned, he took a measuring cup and scooped out some flour from the bowl I was working with and poured it on the counter. That kept him pretty busy for awhile. hehe Look at that sweet flour-covered face. : )

He LOVES to stir.

Just like his Papaw, he loves to taste-test, and he approved.

That is a great tradition. Little kids (and big kids) love to help. Dallin loves to help make brownies, too. I have a picture of Brianna and Angela (just after Scott and I married) with their faces covered with flour. For some reason they liked to eat flour.
Trapper sounds like his dad!
