Houston Rodeo

On Tuesday night, our friends, Chase and Brooke Ethington, called us and invited us to the Houston Rodeo with them. They had two tickets available since whoever had them before had to cancel at the last minute. I thought it would be fun and I can't keep Jackson cooped up forever, so we decided to go. We had a great time! Even Jackson liked it! He was fascinated with the people and the lights and the noise. After the rodeo, the Rascal Flatts came out to give their concert and it got REALLY loud. Good thing Chase brought some waxy ear plugs for the babies, but even those couldn't keep out the noise. So we left after 3 songs.

Brooke let me borrow her sling so it wouldn't be so heavy carrying Jackson everywhere. He really liked it. He'd been screaming and crying in the car all the way to the stadium, so as soon as I put him in the sling, he fell asleep or was at least quiet the whole time we walked around.
