Happy Birthday, Braden!!! I feel like it's been a long time coming because to me he seemed three years old a long time ago. Somewhere between his birth and now, this kid grew up! Where did those three years go? Seriously! These days, I just try to catch him every chance I get and steal a few hugs and kisses.
These are the things Braden does these days:
- HE'S OFFICIALLY POTTY TRAINED!!!!! During our trip to Mississippi, the concept of potty training seemed to click in one day. We thought he'd regress because of the traveling, but it turns out he was further along than we thought.
- He repeats everything we say. Sometimes not so good. haha
- He loves to sing and dance anytime he hears music. His favorite song is "the puppy song." It's an old song that my mom taught the boys.
- He has at least 5 stuffed dogs that he likes to sleep with. And he still can't live without his special blanket.
- He learned how to swim and loves it! Just today,we were at the pool and he wanted to be pirates and have duels in the water. He would swim around saying, "Yo ho, yo ho!"
We celebrated his birthday a week early since we were in Mississippi with family and Trapper had to leave for work early.
Jackson and Braden and their cousin, Noah.
Around the table, from the left is Connor, Dad, Mom, Noah and Carson.
Mom and Dad. I missed them so much!
When asked what kind of cake he wanted, he said chocolate, so we picked him up a cake from Walmart and it was actually REALLY good. I think the adults ended up eating most of the cake. The boys were mostly just enthralled with the wii back in their bedroom.
For his birthday, he got an Iron Man bop-it toy with two big bop-it gloves, some Mickey Mouse books, sunglasses, bubbles, Sponge bob fishing game, etc.
Sunglasses and other stuff from Aunt Danielle.
Connor blowing up a balloon.
While at Danielle and Trin's, we went swimming a lot at Trin's older sister's pool, and we got to see Noah play in a baseball game. Jackson and Braden had the best time playing the wii with Connor and Noah. As much as I hate that they play so much wii, it was good bonding time for the cousins.
