Braden turned 9 months yesterday. I need to document a few things he's been doing lately.
- He's cruising! Walking along the couches and anything else he stands up next to. He also likes to push around Jackson's racecar. I tried to post a video of it, but the dang thing wouldn't work.
- He makes a lot of little squeals, especially if Jackson's doing it too. When one of them starts, the other answers like an echo.
- He's teething again. I'm not sure where it's coming, but he's gotten more cranky and wants to chew on everything. He already has two teeth in the front and it's the cutest thing.
- He LOVES baths. LOVES THEM like I love pastries. As we're heading for the bathroom, his eyes get wide and he starts squealing and jumping up and down in my arms. Okay, I don't jump up and down when I see pastries, but my eyes do get wide and I get very excited.
- I'm not sure how much he weighs yet 'cause his appointment is next week, but I'll be sure to post it when we find out.
- He's still taking two naps a day.
- He's STILL breastfeeding. Not what I prefer, but it could be a WHOLE lot worse, right?
- He wakes up at least twice every night now. And it's fairly easy to put him back down after he's eaten.
- I don't understand WHY, but he has a weird fettish with hair. If you get your head within arms reach, he HAS to grab and pull. It's like he's drawn to it. Even if Jackson's just walking by his high chair when I'm trying to feed him, Braden will throw his hand out and grab Jackson's hair. And it's hard to make him let go sometimes. haha And he has to be holding my hair or rubbing it when he's breastfeeding. I'm seriously considering shaving my head. It's just starting to annoy me.

I can't BELIEVE he's 9 months old! For some reason, I figured he was still just a little baby! How fun!
Devon has this weird hair fetish thing too. Its probably even weirder that he is 15 and still wants to play with my hair when he's tired.
We need to get Layla and Braden together. They would have so much fun cruising the furniture together, going crazy in the bath and pulling their siblings hair! But I'll do without the teething for now. Is there a chance we'll get to see you when Meg leaves?
wow, thanks for your comment. I need to check your blog more! You have 2 kids! And your oldest is in a toddler bed, way to go! How's it going? I think Kylee will be in a crib until she's 6. I don't trust her, it's so scary just like you said. She has a crib tent b/c she learned to climb out of it at 18mo's. she does not nap or sleep unless it's in her crib. she doesn't sleep in our bed, the couch, no where so the crib is a must for her. your kids are so cute. sounds like you guys have been busy with moving!
