Our little "manfreds" are getting so big! It's seriously mindboggling how fast these kids grow. Everyday they are surprising me with something new. Like this morning, while Trapper was getting ready for church, we'd shut the bedroom doors to give us more privacy (from Ashley). I had both boys in the room with me; I was changing Braden's diaper. Jackson doesn't like to be caged in ANYTHING so he fiddled with the door for a couple of seconds and managed to open it! Well, there goes our privacy.....ANYWHERE. Guess I'll have to start locking doors now.

Also, today was Braden's first day of rice cereal. His doctor told me to mix it up with apple juice and to make it really runny, but I knew Braden wouldn't much like it no matter how I made it. This is the picture of his first spoonful. The next picture is of his first reaction to it. You can see his little eyebrows at work thinking about how nasty the cereal tastes. To me, he's saying, "What the heck is this!? How dare you, Mother!" He mushed around a few more bites but then started to gag, so that was the end of that, but we'll try again tomorrow!
He had his well checkup this past Thursday, so here's his stats:
Weight--13lbs. 12oz.

Height--24 1/2 in.
Head--41 1/2 cm.
I forgot to ask for the percentage.
Oh, and Jackson went as well because I was a little worried about him getting sick, which he's not. THANKGOODNESS. But unfortunately, he has not gained much weight. This kid needs a major growth spurt in the near future. He weighs 22lbs....STILL! sheesh.
Another thing that has changed is that Jackson and Braden LOVE to play with each other. I mean, they can't really PLAY yet, but Braden likes to watch Jackson dance or throw toys in the air. It makes him laugh histerically. And Jackson doesn't try to hurt Braden anymore! Instead, he constantly kisses and hugs him and even occasionally tries to pick him up, but the kicking and hitting and pinching are over with. I'm so glad my two boys love each other. I can't wait for them to actually be able to do things together like play ball or build blocks or whatever their little imaginations can conjure up.

I wasn't thinking 22 pounds sounded that small. Annabelle is still only between 25 and 26. But Jackson sure looks grown up to me. I think ever since that haircut he got in Denver he looks so much different to me!
My boys liked the cereal mixed with mom milk. 22! that is how much my 1 year old weighs, but he is on the slim side (no matter how much I feed him).
what a fun brotherly relationship. Reve and Lexi like to play too and it is so fun to see. Reve has learned how to push Lexi's buttons and that makes her mad.
