Trunk-Or-Treat

The trunk-or-treat was a good time, but we got there late, so we had to do everything really fast. I had also forgotten to feed Braden before leaving, so as soon as we got there, I ran off to the mothers' lounge. When I came back, Trapper said that they had already judged the chili and everyone was done eating, so they were going to show off all the kids' costumes in a costume parade on the stage. SHEESH!! I had to quickly grab some chili and cornbread and scarf it down!! They sure were prompt with everything! I wish I could've sat down and took my time to enjoy the good food. We made some chili and Ashley made some amazing cornbread. Because we were late, not many people ate from ours, but that's okay, 'cause we'll have some for leftovers tonight. YUM!
Jackson ate about 2 bites of chili and that was it.

Costume Parade. My kids were the cutest!!! But I'm SUPER biased.

Aren't they adorable!? I love Braden's little outfit.

We are a couple of proud parents. Trapper made Jackson's mask. Cute, huh? Braden had a mask too, but it was hard to get on and keep on.

The boys capes were SO CUTE on them. And they were such a hit. Everyone thinks I'm an amazing seamstress now. haha Thanks for sending me that website, Katie!!

One of the cars outside was a limo! It was filled with Halloween decorations and also had a movie going on inside. Ashley, came with us, as you can see. Sorry we didn't take more pictures of you Ash! Everyone kept mistaking her for me. Next time we'll just say that she's the other wife. haha

After we went to each car for candy, Jackson ran up and down the parking lot for some weird reason. I guess he really just wanted to run. I chased after him for awhile, but I took Braden from Ashley, so it was her turn to run after him. If you click on the photo, you can see him running down the road.

This is sad, but I showed Annabelle your family picture at the top of the blog and she wouldn't say anyone's names. I don't know if she doesn't remember, or was just being shy about it. Hopefully she'll remember Jackson at Thanksgiving! Our branch trunk-or-treat/carnival is on Saturday and I can't wait to go and see how much fun Annabelle has!

How cute! We dressed our boys up like that last year. It's so fun when you can coordinate their costumes and they are happy with it. Have a Happy Halloween!

So cute! I'm glad the costumes turned out. Too bad about having to rush through the party.
Happy Halloween!

What a couple of cute super heros you have. The costumes turned out really well. Jackson looks like he really enjoyed wearing it too. It is funny that he wanted to run up and down the street. When we were at the trunk or treat last year that is what Reve did. I hope you got a lot of good candy.
