Dancing with the Stars--Surprised!

Okay, so this is probably a dumb post to be blogging about, but I'm obsessed with Dancing nwith the Stars.
Shawn Johnson won the mirrorball trophy!! I've been watching the whole season and thought she should've been voted off earlier, but towards the end, she's gotten a lot better. And I guess that's why she really deserves the trophy. I was definitely surprised when I found out this morning. It's funny because I put all my votes in for Gilles and Melissa, but then when the show came on for the finale, I started to regret my decision and wished that I had voted for Shawn. I didn't think she'd win even if I had put my votes in for her, but I thought that out of the three finalists, she had improved the most. Well, I guess everyone else thought so too! I'm glad she won. They say that the votes were REALLY close for all of three of them, and that between Shawn and Gilles there was a difference of less than 1%. This has been an awesome season.
I was pulling for Gilles the whole time. He's HOTT, for one thing, but for someone who didn't dance a lot, he turned out to be amazing.

LOL I'm glad you enjoy the show. I didn't watch a single episode. In fact, except for Playhouse Disney, Disney, and "Cars" I haven't watched much TV.

Thanks for the message...as far as parenting styles, for Tyler we use some "love and logic" which is mainly just giving them choices that are all good for you but they make them think they are deciding. If they don't make a choice in 1 minute then you obviously choose for them. My favorite book for the first year is "BABY 411" it's my baby Bible!! I love it...I love her way to get baby to sleep ALL through the night at 4 months old. The whole book is Q & A so you don't have to read it front to back, you can just skip through and see what you need to know at that time. Anyways, Good luck w/ the new baby and congrats! Keep us informed =)

Suzy,
I am an old family friend of Trappers, so I catch up every once in a while to see how his little family is doing. Just wanted to let you know I just posted a comment on your breastfeeding post, since it's been a while since you put that on, didn't know if you checked comments that far back or not. Good luck on baby #2 and all that comes with it!!! :) Maria
