Jackson and I flew out to Utah for a week to see the Grandparents and aunts and uncles. We were SOO excited to see them. The plane trip was a first for Jackson, but it wasn't too bad. It was really exhausting trying to keep him entertained or trying to get him to take a nap, but thankfully it didn't last forever. For the whole week I had 5 and sometimes 6 babysitters!! It was such a relief to have others hold and play with Jackson. And he was good baby too. He smiled at everyone and didn't mind if he didn't know the person. He's a pretty laid back kid, I guess. On Monday, Sally and Annabelle drove out to Tremonton as well! I hadn't seen her since last April, I think. I can't believe how much Annabelle has grown. It was fun seeing them both. On Wednesday, Trapper came out there as well, but for different reasons. He has to go up to Rexburg to recruit for his company. I couldn't wait to see Rexburg. It hasn't changed TOO much, but it definitely has made changed a little bit. I miss college. I loved the "hustle and bustle" of going to class and staying up late to study for a test and all that stuff. I hope to go back to school someday. But we'll see.

Here's Grand-Poopah and Jackson taking a nap together. They enjoyed doing that together. haha
Anyway, so in Rexburg, while Trapper did his thang, Jackson and I walked around campus a little bit. Unfortunately, I forgot the stroller, so I hauled him around in the carrier and that got heavy, so we didn't walk around for very long. We visited a couple of my old roommates and took my friend, Shellie, out to eat for her birthday. I miss that girl.
On Thursday, we went to see Greg and Carlin Pickett. Greg is Trapper's best friend. We stayed and ate dinner with them and hung out. Then we headed for home. On Friday, Trapper and I went and bought a new car!!!! DAh!! Okay, I'll have to put a picture of it up. It's a Mazda CX-7. We needed an all-wheel drive car for Colorado. We left our Honda Accord out in Houston with some friends to sell it for us. And then on Saturday night, we grilled up some burgers and hung out with Trapper's old friends. It was pretty fun. We just talked and laughed all night.

In this photo, Jackson wasn't liking the high chair. He hasn't figured out how to sit up on his own, so we tried to fix that with a pillow. It didn't work out.
And on Sunday, of course, we went to church, but Trapper had to leave early to catch his flight home. I left the following day. And then on Tuesday, we packed up to move out!!!!! SHEESH. It was CRAZZZY.

Jackson is such a handsome man. I already miss holding him. Look how sweet he is in that picture cuddling up to me! And he is so funny in the highchair. I remember that stage with Annabelle. They are just like a wet noodle and flop all over in the thing!
It was so good to see you and Jackson. He is such a cute little guy. I was really surprised to see how big he really is. In all of the pictures he doesn't seem that round but he is and it is so cute. You were right about flying with babies. NOT FUN. My flight out to see my sister was perfect he had fun and actually played with a baby sitting in front of us and then slept for the last half of the flight... but our trip back home was awful. I had a tired cranky and very heavy child. I had a stop in Denver to get on a different plane and I had 10 minutes to get to the next gate. Well the flight assistance told me the wrong gate so had to run from one side to the other it was bad. I am so happy to finally be home.
