To tell you the truth, not much has been happening here. Jackson has been pretty fussy these past few days...well more like weeks. Okay, the past month. He's been teething, but that's not so bad anymore. Now the problem is constipation. I'm sorry if any of you are eating and reading this at the same time. Poor kid just can't get a good bowel movement...until today that is. Jackson and I decided it would be best if we relieved the situation with a suppository. Yikes! Although he didn't like it in the least bit, we were blessed with immediate results. : ) And let's just hope he is a little bit happier from here on out and a bit more grateful for his mommy. We [moms] sure have to go through so many unusual and awkward situations for the happiness of our children and this was probably my first of these experiences. haha Any of you mom's had any embarrassing situations like this that you would never hope to have to do for your child or tell your child about as an adult?
Tonight Chase and Brooke came over and ate dinner with us. I made Easy Bistro Chicken from the Kraft Magazine. I love those magazines. And the dinner was mm mm yummy. It had mushrooms and bacon and chicken and tomatoes. OH YEAH. I love mushrooms. I also made rolls from a recipe that my friend, Mari, gave me. She calls them "Out of this world Rolls" so I thought I'd make them for dinner. I was a little late in getting them ready so we didn't have them for dinner. I also messed them up a little bit yesturday as I was making the dough. I forgot to put the sugar in, so I kind of just meshed the sugar in with the dough as best as I could. haha They turned out all right, I guess. Not the best, but maybe next time it'll be better. After dinner, we had Family Home Evening and then went to Cinco Ranch and walked around a bunch of shops with the kids in their strollers. It was fun. We even saw our Bishop with two of his daughters! He walked up behind us and was like, "It must be Family Home Evening night!" We were like, "Huh? OHHH Hey!" haha It was cool to see him away from the church setting. After that we went to Cold Stone and had some yummy ice cream. So good. And that was our evening! Of course, when we came home, Trapper gave Jackson his bath and I cleaned up the kitchen and watched The Bachelor. I was a little disappointed with the outcome of this episode.
I'm always trying to make Jackson laugh now. He did it a few times and now I think I'm just trying too hard and he senses that. So now when he does laugh, it's at the most randomest moments and I'm not even trying to make him laugh! But I caught him this time on camera, or rather I figured out how to make him laugh so that I could catch it on camera. It's soo cute! All I had to do was imitate his sounds and he thought it was hilarious!

I'm so glad you posted about your day yesterday because when I read it I realized, I forgot about The Bachelor last night! And that is such a cute laugh little Jackson has.
haha, I might be out of the loop here but I thought Jackson was the 2 yr old and Braden was the baby! Hahha, guess you already got the 'mix up my kids names' syndrome! Love his laugh! :)
